Fifth-Annual List Honors Leading MSSP, MDR and SOCaaS Cybersecurity Companies Worldwide

The list and research identify and honor the top MSSPs, managed detection and response (MDR) and Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) providers worldwide.

The rankings are based on MSSP Alert’s 2021 readership survey combined with the digital media site’s global editorial coverage of managed security services providers. The fifth-annual list and research report track the managed security service market’s ongoing growth and evolution.

“The AME Group is honored to be included in the MSSP Alert’s top 250 MSSPs in the world, alongside such well-known and sizable brands as AT&T, Verizon, IBM, and many others,” said Brent Williams, President, The AME Group. “As an ESOP, it is rewarding for our team to be recognized for their efforts in providing the best managed security service possible to our clients. In an environment of unprecedented threats to business and general uncertainty due to the pandemic, we’re proud to be able to give our clients peace of mind when it comes to security, so they can focus on their business.”

“After Nines Inc. and MSSP Alert congratulate The AME Group on this year’s honor,” said Amy Katz, CEO of After Nines Inc. “Amid continued ransomware, malware and supply chain cyber-attacks, the MSSP Alert readership and community continues to mitigate risks for businesses and government organizations worldwide.”

About The AME Group

The AME Group has been committed to creating technology success for our clients since 1985. While Managed Security Services are a cornerstone of our technology solutions, we also offer managed IT services, software development, ERP, infrastructure solutions, and more. Our methodology has always been to partner with clients to design a custom solution that meets their specific budget and the unique needs of their business. In addition, our clients can leverage our team of trained cybersecurity professionals and avoid the challenges of hiring in this highly specialized area and maintaining internal resources in the current challenging threat landscape.

AME’s ranking in the Top 250 MSSP list validates our consultative approach, our commitment to service and innovation, and our investment in cybersecurity. As a managed service provider (MSP), The AME Group strives to keep ahead of issues facing the business and clients we serve. The cybersecurity and technical controls we put in place within our business are as important as the ones we put in place at your business.  We want to prove that your data is secure, and “trust but verify” our own processes and controls. As such we have received our SOC 2 report, which evaluated the processes and controls we have in place relevant to security and verified they met the Trust Services Criteria.  We have also completed the more detailed and rigorous MSP Verify audit process through MSPAlliance®, both of which are audited and verified by a trusted third party through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IACPA). The certification is designed to provide assurance, generate trust, and communicate transparency to consumers of managed IT services.

In today’s cybersecurity climate, this commitment and accountability is critical for all vendors, but especially so for MSPs. Now our clients have the assurance that not only do we employ recognized industry best practices to deliver technology solutions, but those practices have been validated by an outside third party. This investment in people, processes, and technology is especially evident in our dedicated security team but extends through all our services.
